Tsrtc Special Buses For Dasara

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has commenced operating 3,600 Special buses for Telangana state festival Dasara, which would be celebrated from September 20th, 2017 to 30th September 2017 on the grand scale.

TS Govt declared Dasara holidays 2017 for 15 days along with considering Moharram Festival on Oct 1st this year.

Apart from special buses, scheduled buses will be operated as usual. However, passengers have to shell out an additional 50 per cent as fare in the special buses.

TSRTC officials said that 1,000 of these special buses were already operating from September 19 and would continue till September 25 while from September 26 to 29, another 2600 buses too would be pressed into service.

E Yadagiri, Regional Manager of TSRTC said: “More than 300 TSRTC staff including officials will be working round the clock during these days at all the starting points for ensuring safety of passengers,”

Till September 30, all the scheduled buses from Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Medak districts will come to Jubilee Bus Station. The Warangal and Yadadri buses will come to Uppal Cross Road. MGBS will have starting points for Kakinada, Guntur, Mahabubnagar, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. The Khammam, Nalgonda, and Vijayawada buses will come to LB Nagar.

TSRTC officials have appealed passengers to make use of the website, www.tsrtconline.in for booking tickets in advance.

Tsrtc to operate 3855 Special Buses For Dasara Festival 2015

Running 3855 special buses for festival dusherra is mandatory in state for this year.

TSRTC started operating special buses from October 9 and will continue the operation till October 21 to meet the additional rush on the festive season. For this tsrtc introduced new website for online ticket booking.

Tsrtc provided bus station contact numbers for inquiry.

Moreover, diversion of route was also scheduled in view to clear the festive traffic and for the convenience of public. In addition to this, over 3,557 schedule buses would be operated daily.

Special Buses area wise:

The scheduled routes of the buses include Khammam, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar, Parigi, Tandur, Vikarabad. Both the regular and special buses would start from MGBS and also the same holds for Vennela, Garuda Plus, Garuda, Inter-State buses.

Whereas KSRTC, MSRTC, Vijayawada and Guntur schedule buses would originate from MGBS. Vijayawada and Guntur special buses would be originated in LB Nagar.

Ongole, Nellore, Kurnool, Kadapa, Anantapur, Tirupathi, Chittoor of both in Old CBS (Missisippi Hanger), Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Medak of both from JBS and Picket point. Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Narsampet of both buses point is Kachiguda Bus Station and Uppal X Road/ Uppal Bus Station point for Yadagirigutta.

Special city shuttle buses will be operated from MGBS to JBS, Kacheguda, Uppal X Roads and LB Nagar with 15 minutes frequency. For booking ticket in advance can approach nearby booking agents or e booking through www.tsrtconline.in

Fare Charges For Dasara Special Telangana Buses

The facility to book reservation tickets in advance has also been provided. Bus fares will be charged normal for buses plying within 200 km. Buses plying beyond 200 km, buses plying to Adilabad, Khammam and Andhra Pradesh will be charged an additional fare of 50%.
